The transition towards a sustainable construction industry takes a decisive step forward as ten major players in the construction sector come together to form the Community of Sustainable Equipment Actors (CAMD).

Haulotte Group, a global leader in the manufacture of aerial work platforms and lifting equipment, proudly announces its membership in this collaborative initiative.

CAMD, established as a French association under Law 1901, is the result of a year of reflection and collaboration among renowned companies such as Bouygues Construction, Colas, Eiffage, JCB, Kiloutou, Manitou Group, NGE, Salti, and Volvo, with Haulotte Group now joining this coalition.
Under the presidency of Olivier Colleau, also Executive President of Kiloutou, CAMD has adopted a collegiate governance representing equipment manufacturers, rental companies, and construction and public works companies.

This structure will coordinate efforts towards five key objectives:
  1. Providing concrete solutions and driving cross-cutting projects within the industry.
  2. Establishing a common knowledge base and decarbonization trajectory.
  3. Enhancing visibility of the equipment sector and its role in BTP (Building and Public Works) transitions.
  4. Advocating alongside professional federations for sustainable industry principles.
  5. Promoting a shared vision and ambition for sectoral decarbonization.

The Operational Committee, composed of representatives from the ten member companies, will oversee the implementation of these objectives and organize key events such as the upcoming Sustainable Equipment Meetings scheduled for September 24, 2024.

CAMD is committed to pooling efforts, skills, and best practices to accelerate the environmental transformation of the industry.
